This
'03 Blazer came draggin only the front cross member into the
shop. The customer wanted to lay this Blazer on the ground on
20's, keep his heat & AC and still have the battery up front.
We
started by tubing the firewall, and wheel tubs. Then we had
to make a new blower box and relocate the battery tray and fuse
box. Instaling Air Ride Technologies control arms was the last
piece of the puzzle to get this thing on the ground.
As
many Blazer owners know the front is easy to lower compared
to the rear. No one makes a "kit" or even so much
as brackets for them. We decided to take it one step further.
We customized a complete bolt on it for the rear using F9000's.
This set up retains the factory gas tank as well as its location
and the rear seats - something that most Blazer owners don't
get to do when you put it on the ground.
The
owner of this custom Blazer has contacted us about a new project
for this truck. All that I can say is, "Bigger is Better!"
